Renew Malmesbury:

This community hub supported local residents and businesses in adopting a more sustainable lifestyle and work practices. They offered various services, including a print facility, room and desk rentals, a diverse selection of courses for adults and children, and even birthday parties. Additionally, they promoted a broader sustainability agenda through a series of eco talks and debates.

Through my involvement, I gained valuable insights into shop operations, systems management, website development, and design.

Missing People:

I decided to deepen my knowledge of SEO and website management, so I applied to volunteer at the Missing People charity. They responded promptly, and I have been volunteering with them ever since. My role involves optimizing the SEO for each missing person’s profile, enhancing their visibility in search engines.

Big Syn Festival:

I noticed that the Big Syn Festival was seeking volunteers, so I decided to apply. Initially, my role involved conducting research for the festival. Since then, it has expanded to include promoting the event and encouraging people to submit films.

Althestan1100:

From June 2024 to October 2024, Malmesbury will celebrate the 1100th anniversary of Athelstan becoming king. Athelstan, the first King of England, had a special relationship with our historic town.

I got involved by assisting with social media, designing materials, and contributing in various other ways.
